If you want to get the most out of your weed, you need to grind it properly. Breaking buds into small pieces allows to get the maximum of smoke out of your ganja. More than that, it provides a more smooth burn than unground weed. Weed grinders are relatively cheap, though it sometimes happens so that you have no time or desire to go to the nearest shop and purchase one. Do not panic. Here are five ways to make your own cannabis grinder.
1. Use scissors and a shot glass
There is nothing complicated about it. Place your nug right into a shot glass and then, with the help of small scissors, chop it up. Make sure your scissors are sharp enough and do not go too crazy. Once you have got the consistency you are looking for, carefully pour the ground weed out of the shot glass into a bowl or rolling paper.
2. Electric blender
Using an electric blender is another straightforward way to grind weed without a special weed grinder. A coffee grinder will work perfectly. The only disadvantage of such method is that you need to place a decent amount of cannabis into the electric blender—otherwise, it leaves the cannabis untouched.
3. Mesh cup holder
If you have decided to try this method, then you need some office equipment: mesh object, pencil holder or something that looks like it, business card or paper holder. Now you need to press the cannabis through the metal mesh. You will get perfect little chunks. You may also put weed on a cutting board and just roll a pencil holder over it until it is completely broken down into small pieces.
4. Tobacco can plus screws
This method of grinding weed is more suitable for experienced marijuana smokers. Nevertheless, we will get you familiarized with it. Who knows, maybe it is your calling. You need some materials: tobacco can, something sharp to poke the holes, screws. First of all, you need to make a series of quite small holes in the bottom of the tobacco can. They should be smaller than the screws, otherwise the seal between the screws and the can will be not tight enough, and cannabis will just fall out. Insert the screws. The same needs to be done with the lid of the can. The grinder is ready.
