Super Bowl 50 is still on everyone’s lips, with all its highs and thrills, but the news about football stars giving in to the neurodegenerative diseases takes its turn in the newspapers’ headlines all around the world. Every time there appears to be more and more names of football players who have to face “eventual extinction” due to a painfully terrible illness. Some of these illnesses could be treated with medical marijuana, but so far it has been impossible for sportsmen to use it. It seems that the only way of solving the problem at the moment is to push the NFL to loosen its rules on medical cannabis use. But is it possible?
